History
Mr. Ali Asghar Hajibaba was born in 1931 in Tehran. He was the founder of different industrial units which were established, run, and operated for the first time in Iran. In 1963, Mr. Hajibaba, founded Pars Metal Co., hoping to make a move toward the industrialization of Iran. He then established Chauffagekar in 1969, manufacturing iron cast boilers for the first time in the country. Shortly after the revolution in March 1979, given his entrepreneurial background and interest in developing Iran's Industry, alongside the many skills that he obtained in this field, Mr. Hajibaba was appointed to Iran-National Company's Board of Directors. Mr. Ali Asghar Hajibaba, one of the reputable businessmen in the steel-making industry, is known as the founder of foundry and ferroalloy industry in Iran and has been awarded as ‘Iran's Figure of Industry, Mining, and Trade’.
With the aim of developing the country's economy and advancing the level of industry, Mr. Hajibaba founded Ferrosilice Iran, Iran-Model Cast and Machine Making, Resitan and several other companies under the name of Karafarinan holding.

Company Introduction
Resitan Co. was established in 1981 by a group of investors and founders of Chauffagekar Co., Pars Metal Group, and Iran Ferrosilice Co., with the aim to domestically produce the raw materials needed for the casting industry which back then, were being imported into the country. Indeed, the ultimate goal was to help with the advancement of the industrialization in Iran.
Resitan's plant was set up in 1981 on a 53000 square meters land with the capacity to produce 29,000 tons of phenolic and foundry resins. Later, in 1994 the company started the production of Alkyd and Polyester resins, and in 2006, with the aim to complete its product portfolio, the second development phase was started and its operation was carried out for about seven years.
Today, with 250 bright-minded experts, Resitan Co. has taken a big step in meeting the demands of various industries through the help of its experienced specialists and experts who continuously work on innovating new formulations and products with the latest devices and technologies in it's R&D unit.
Since all the production technology of Resitan is licensed by Germany -The origin of the polymer industry-precision and quality have always been the approach of this company. Resitan is one of the first resin-producing units in Iran to produce and maintain high quality resins based on ISO 9001: 2015 quality management certification.
